Description: I thin tom with sleek grey fur and amber eyes.

Past: Reedkit was a sickly young cat. No one in the clan expected him to survive into adulthood, let alone become a leader. When Reedpaw was young, he was shy and contemplative, often spending long hours on his own. This stood in stark contrast to Riverclan at the time. Under the leadership of Troutstar, Riverclan prioritized strength and aggression while all Reedpaw had was cunning. This was epitomized by the bullying of Floodpaw which burned Reedwhisker to the core.
After becoming a warrior, Reedwhisker dedicated himself to revenge upon Floodclaw. By any means necessary.

Shortly before Troutstar's death, Reedwhisker fought Floodclaw for the deputy position. In the heat of battle, Reedwhisker landed a fatal blow on the large Riverclan deputy. In doing so, he won the battle and became the deputy. After Troutstar's untimely death at the jaws of a dog, many Riverclan cats hated their new leader. How could a shy tom fill the massive pawprints of Troutstar? This lack of trust eats away at Reedstar. His conscious is a tug of war between a desire to do what is good and a desire to hold onto power. It pushes him to be fierce when he might not want to. It pushes him to be violent when words might serve him better.

After Troutstar died, Riverclan went into chaos and Thunderclan took the suningrocks. Reedstar wants them back and to prove he's a strong leader.

Cornfur is mates with Reedstar. Together they have two kits, Fogpaw and Duskpaw

Name: Cornfur

A Yellowish She-cat with amber eyes and a white jaw.

Past: Cornfur has always been considered Riverclan's (and perhaps the entire forest's) most beautiful cat. She resents this. It has cause warriors and leaders to look on her as a potential mate and not as a cat to be respected. She's worked harder than any other cat to be a better warrior and a better leader. She is deputy despite being mates with Reedstar, not because of it.

Name: Storkfur

Description: A gray tom with sleek fur. Blue eyes.

Past: Storkfur was found abandoned as a kit near the Thunderclan border. A kind Riverclan she-cat took him in. He was a natural swimmer and fisher, almost as if he had Riverclan blood.
He is a strong and loyal Riverclan warrior.

Description: A light brown tabby she-cat.

Past: When she was born, the clan thought she was a tom, but as she grew, she realized that being a she-cat fit her better.
She was eager to learn as an apprentice and had ambitions to be deputy one day, but that changed when she found Storkkit alone and shivering by the Thunderclan border. Luckily, the kit was old enough to be weaned. From the moment she adopted the kit, he became her whole world.
She fights fiercely for Riverclan, but she is sometimes seen staring across the Thunderclan border. Perhaps looking out for a threat?

Name: Raggedtongue

Alive? As the sun on the snow-covered ground.

Description: A plain tabby tom with uncharacteristically (for a Riverclan cat) messy fur.

Past: Raggedtail was never satisfied with the warrior life. He particularly disliked the bravado of then-leader Troutstar and as a result, decided to leave the clan, becoming a rogue self-named Ramble. Ramble met with a group of Rogues called "The Roots" (Sometimes mockingly known as Rootclan by Riverclan cats). There he learned storytelling in a very unclan like manner. he would have likely never come back to the forest if Troutstar hadn't died. Reedstar was on much better terms with the poet-warrior and invited him back into Riverclan, giving him the new name "Raggedtongue in the process"

Name: Troutstar

Alive? Definitely not.

Description: A Large Red Tom with black flecks on his face and body.

Past: Troutstar was a powerful Riverclan leader who led through fear, intimidation, and displays of strength. He was incredibly popular among Riverclan and has left many cats (particularly the older ones) pining for 'They days of Troutstar.' To decide his deputies he used to have all the Riverclan cats who wished to be deputy fight and selected the winner as his new deputy. Shortly before his death, Troutstar decided to have his then-deputy and only daughter Floodclaw demonstrate her strength by fighting to retain her position as deputy. Only Reedwhisker dared to challenge her. This was supposed to be a coronation of sorts for Floodclaw but it went horribly wrong. Not only did Reedwhisker win the fight but he killed Floodclaw in the process. Troutstar was appalled but stuck by the decision and made Reedwhisker deputy, hoping a more fearsome cat would come and usurp the role. No one ever dared.

So when Troutstar died in a fight with some two-leg dogs, Reedwhisker became leader.

Name: Ottersnout

Description: A smooth furred brown she-cat with a long body, short legs, and a thick tail. The best swimmer in Riverclan, Ottersnout has smooth fur, even by Riverclan standards

Past: Ottersnout was found as a kit swimming up Riverclan's stream. She promptly became a medicine cat's apprentice.
