Name: Rabbitstar

Description: Wiry brown tom with faint tabby markings and a bobbed tail. Amber eyes.

Past: Rabbitstar became deputy of Windclan quite unexpectedly after the two prior deputies became unfit to hold the position. Many thought the previous leader, Asphodelstar, was a poor judge of character, as his first deputy left to become a kittypet and his second made an attempt on his life and had to be driven out of the clan. There were rumors that the two, both she-cats, also became his mates before becoming his deputies.

The clan pressured Asphodelstar to choose a more level-headed deputy the third time around.

In his apprenticeship, Rabbitstar was quite capricious, getting into trouble with his best friend Stoatpaw and not taking his duties very seriously. However, when Rabbitpaw's warrior ceremony was delayed due to his troublemaking ways, he became more serious and trained hard to become a worthy warrior of Windclan.

When Asphodelstar reportedly died suddenly of a bad illness, Rabbitstar took over as leader of Windclan.

Description: Black cat with fur that tints red in strong sunlight. Amber eyes and torn ears.

Past: Stoatflight was born to the warriors Coldwhisker and Dovestep, one of two surviving kits out of five in their second litter. Their first litter had been similarly ill-fated, with only one kit surviving. The kit from their first litter grew to be a strong warrior and swift hunter. He became Deputy and eventually leader. This was Asphodelstar.

Stoatflight is nothing like their brother.

Rambunctious and curious, Stoatflight got the self and their crew of Rabbitpaw and their littermate Coalpaw, into endless trouble. It got so bad that their warrior ceremonies were delayed, even while younger apprentices earned their warrior names.

While Rabbitpaw became more serious and earned his warrior name, Stoatpaw only grew more troublesome until one day they made a mistake they couldn't take back.

When Stoatpaw returned to camp one day without Coalpaw, unable to say where their littermate had gone, their parents were heartbroken.

Stoatpaw became despondent and refused to leave the apprentice den. Eventually, Rabbit heart managed to snap them out of their fog and they returned to their apprentice duties. After a longer path than most, Stoatpaw received their warrior name, Stoatflight, although Asphodelstar told them disdainful that it was due to their flighty nature.

Stoatflight became closer to Rabbitheart, and when Asphodelstar passed away suddenly, they were the only one Rabbitstar would consider as his deputy.

Many in the clan consider this to be a poor choice, including Stoatflight's own parents.

Deacription: Lean black tom with strange blue eyes.

Past: the only surviving kit of Coldwhisker and Dovestep'first litter, Asphodelstar always felt the need to be the best at everything he did. He worked harder and trained longer than any of the other apprentices to become an excellent hunter and a strong fighter.

It was no surprise to the clan that he was made deputy shortly after training his first apprentice. Of course, some would later say he was forced into leadership too soon.

No one knows if Asphodelstar's two first ill-fated deputies were really his mates or if that was just a rumor spread by cats displeased with his leadership. What everyone could see was that Asphodelstar was falling apart before his untimely death. He no longer trusted his judgment and would often defer to Rabbitheart.

Some consider it a mercy he died when he did, both for his sake and the sake of the clan.

Name: Coalpaw
Rank: Former apprentice

Description: Small black tom with amber eyes.

Past: Coalpaw was one of two surviving kits in Coldwhisker and Dovestep'second litter. He was very close to his sibling Stoatflight and would go along with basically anything they did. This led to his warrior ceremony being delayed long after most cats his age.

One day, when he and Stoatpaw were out without their mentors, he disappeared without a trace. Stoatflight never told anyone what happened.

Name: Rosefur
Rank: Medicine Cat

Description: Sandy-colored she-cat with soft fur and a scar over her left eye. Blue eyes.

Past: As a kit, Rosefur dreamed of nothing more than becoming a warrior. Unlike her brother, Shiverkit, who was often lost in thought, her paws were planted firmly on the ground. Just as they were about to be apprenticed, though, Shiverkit confided in her that he had overheard their leader discussing making him a medicine cat apprentice. He was afraid of the responsibility and sacrifice of the medicine cat role.
Out of love and concern for her brother, Rosekit faked a sign from StarClan to convince the leader to chose her for the role. As luck would have it, the prediction Rosekit made quickly came true, and the clan was convinced she was right for the role.
Sometimes, Rosefur still wishes she could have become a warrior, but every time she sees Shiverstep living happily with his mate, she knows she made the right choice.
Over time, she began to receive true messages from StarClan, and she takes her role as medicine cat very seriously.

Description: A sandy-colored tom with blue eyes.

Past: As a kit, Shiverstep often had visions he didn't understand. Word got around the clan of his vacant looks and how he spoke to cats no one else could see. This made the leader believe he would make a good medicine cat apprentice.
However, Shiverkit did not want to be a medicine cat. He was frightened at the thought of having a clanmate's life in his paws, and he wasn't convinced his visions were from StarClan, as the cats he met often had horrible wounds or stunk of death or infection. In top of this, he was very found of Wildkit, a she-kit about his age. He knew if he became a medicine cat, they could never be together when they got older.
He pleaded with his sister Rosekit to take his place as the medicine cat apprentice, and she obliged him. He is happy as a warrior and a fine hunter for his clan.

Description: A reddish-ginger she-cat with deep green eyes.

Past: Wildfire always had a fierceness to her. From kithood, she had a sharp tongue and a strong dedication to her clan. She often got into trouble as an apprentice for talking back to warriors and served tick duty more than almost any apprentice in WindClan history, with the exception of Stoatflight.
She is very serious about her warrior duties, though she hopes to take some time off from hunting and patrolling soon, as she hopes to have several litters of little warriors with her mate, Shiverstep.
